August 2012 – The Carragher Chronicles
Dear Praying Friends,
“I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;”~ I Corinthians 1:4
We cannot thank you enough for the awesome opportunity to serve God by reaching our Armed Forces. His grace is displayed daily through your love, prayers and support.
Since the last prayer letter, by God’s wonderful grace, our shared ministry has seen an increase of two missionaries. I am always amazed to see how the Lord can take someone like me and use me for His glory. With you, it will be wonderful to meet their fruit in glory.
Through preaching and door knocking, eight people came to know Christ. I am glad that God saves sinners… that He would save a sinner like me.”
We continue to distribute Bibles to our heroes around the world. As of the first of July, 812,000 Bibles have been shipped. Thank you to all who help provide God’s Word for the Armed Forces. Below, is a list of praises since our last letter:
a. Led seven missionary families through candidate school.
b. Completed soul winning training at three churches outside of military installations. As a result, 48 people have been saved.
c. Eight additional Bible colleges opened their doors for us to present military missions.
d. A college has asked us to develop curriculum for a military missions class.
e. Daniel graduated from high school.
f. Taught an online course to our heroes in Afghanistan.
g. Attended a graduation for a soldier I led to the Lord five years ago.
h. Received funds for car repairs. Prayer Requests:
a. Pray for the salvation and safety of our military heroes.
b. Pray for our family’s health and strength.
c. Pray for the Lord to receive the preeminence in all that we do.
d. Pray for additional support for our family and ministry.
e. Pray for the families and friends of our fallen heroes and that the Lord will use their sacrifices for His glory.
